University of Queensland Oral Health Centre (LendLease) PDF Print E-mail

Lend Lease has been awarded the construction contract for the University of Queensland’s new $120 million Oral Health Centre (OHC) at its Herston campus in Brisbane. Lend Lease will work in partnership with the University to deliver the facility.

The OHC is set to be Australia’s most advanced oral health facility, incorporating dental clinics and research laboratories, state-of-the-art teaching and learning spaces and office space across seven levels. The OHC will have general dentistry clinics as well as specialist clinics, advanced medical imaging facilities and operating theatres. It will include a special needs unit operated by Queensland Health for dental treatment of medically compromised patients and patients with special needs Managing Director of Lend Lease’s project management & construction business in Australia, Murray Coleman, said the OHC will set a benchmark for oral health facilities in Australia.
