QGCLNG project represents a major investment in Queensland's coal seam gas industry to unlock new supplies of cleaner energy for domestic and export markets. A priority project of QGC, a BG Group business, the QGCLNG project involves transporting coal seam gas via a 340km pipeline from its collection field in the Surat Basin to Gladstone, where it will be turned into liquefied natural gas at a plant on Curtis Island. 1300locate have been contracted by Golder Associates to complete investigation site clearances for the geotechnical Investigation process of the QGCLNG Upstream Pipeline Project and other geotechnical works within the Gladstone Port Authority, which include the RG Tanner, Auckland Point, Barney Point and Fishermans Landing sites. |
